Industrial thermal audit

How field measurements turn consumption symptoms and process into prioritized opportunities.

01

An audit turns symptoms into data

High consumption, low capacity and thermal instability may have different causes. The audit defines borders, instruments, test conditions and indicators to safely locate losses.

Production rate, recipe, climate and operating status should be recorded with every measurement to make results comparable.

02

What is normally measured

Temperatures, flow rates, humidity, pressure, steam, electric energy and surface condition form the basis of the balance. Thermal images and visual inspections complement the data but do not replace the balance.

The team also records the position of dampers, filter status, leaks and limitations reported by the operation.

03

A plan that can be executed

The recommendations should present probable benefit, investment, interference in production and dependencies. This prioritization converts the audit into a practical sequence of improvements.
